Laura Newbern, an Assistant Professor of English/Creative Writing at Georgia College & State University since 2005, teaches graduate and undergraduate poetry workshops, poetics, and other Creative Writing and literature courses. Laura Newbern, an Assistant Professor of English/Creative Writing at Georgia College & State University since 2005, teaches graduate and undergraduate poetry workshops, poetics, and other Creative Writing and literature courses. Laura is also the Poetry Editor of Arts & Letters. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing from the Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. Laura also holds an MA in English/Creative Writing from New York University, and she earned her BA at Barnard College at Columbia University.
