Laura Catalán is a Spanish children's book illustrator. She obtained a degree in Anthropology while practising her favourite activity from childhood: drawing. Laura Catalán is a Spanish children's book illustrator. She obtained a degree in Anthropology while practising her favourite activity from childhood: drawing. For several years she attended drawing lessons at the Fine Arts Centre of Sant Lluç in Barcelona. She then decided to shift gears and pursue a career in children's illustration as it merged two of her favourite things in the world: books and drawing.
