Kyung-Hoon Shin

Dr. Kyung-Hoon Shin is currently a professor in the Department of Marine Sciences and Convergent Technology, as well as the Director of the Institute of Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, at Hanyang University. Dr. Kyung-Hoon Shin is currently a professor in the Department of Marine Sciences and Convergent Technology, as well as the Director of the Institute of Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, at Hanyang University. He received his MSc from Nagoya University and PhDs from Hokkaido University in Japan. Additionally, he worked as a research scientist for the Frontier Observational Research System of Global Change from the International Artic Research Center, for which he was awarded the Outstanding Research Accomplishment Award in 2002. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Korean Journal of Ecology and Environment from 2011 to 2018. Currently, he serves as the Associate Editor of the Geochemical Journal, Marine Drugs, and Frontiers in Marine Science. See less
