Kristi Schroeder is a designer, quilter, entrepreneur and avid traveler. She lives in Austin Texas and is the founder and owner of Initial K Studio. Ms. Schroeder came to the quilting world quite accidentally through her work as a graphic designer in the corporate world. Her love for travel and the Southwest began at an early age. From the mountain ranges to the rich Native American culture of Santa Fe, she found the area to be filled with never-ending sources of inspiration. This native Texan is now a World traveler who draws inspiration for her designs in art, fashion and textiles from around the globe, as well as from exploring the great outdoors.
