Klaas Ruitenbeek
Klaas Ruitenbeek studied Chinese literature and history in Leiden, The Netherlands, and Beijing. He was curator of East Asian Art at the Rijksmuseum museum in Amsterdam, and was professor of Chinese art and archaeology at the University of Munich. Since January 2010, he has been Director of the Asian Art Museum in Berlin. His research focus is Ancient Chinese architecture, Han-dynasty art, and Chinese painting of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
