After spending many years in his homeland of Scotland, East Kilbride to be exact, Kevin Hammond embarked on a journey across the ocean; destination middle of nowhere Pennsylvania where he married and now lives with his wife and daughter. Upon discovering the lack of such things as public transportation, food delivery, the letter "u," and understanding that "football" no longer meant "football" but was now soccer (although this shall never be truly accepted) he was finally accepted as "that guy from France, Germany, Ireland, England, etc. etc.." However, something was missing and so began his venture into writing. The stories that grow within the confines of his mind longed to be put down into words (which also helps solve the problem of accent misunderstandings which cause the "deer caught in headlights" syndrome). His current venture is a volume of books called "Magic, Fairy Tales, and Inter Dimensional Poking Devices." Volume one takes the reader on a magical and wacky story taking place in an alternate dimension where fairy tales just happen to be the main industry. Plenty of silliness abounds as the fairy tale economy faces collapse giving rise to the lollygaggers' movement. A wish is cast upon the wishing star for fate to be kind. Humor and mayhem ensue leading to a wide range of consequences that will unfold the sad story behind why the universe is how it is today. Volume two picks up where Volume one leaves off. Other titles available include the stand alone title "Loki's Hunt" available on Kindle or paperback through Amazon. See less
