His theatrical life still informs everything he writes, which is understandable when one considers he has spent years in repertory, The London West End, Musical theatre, Concert Party, Music Hall, Films, Television, Tatty Tours and Working Mens Clubs. Work that has taken him to Scandinavia, Germany, France, Africa not to mentionthe USA. Broadway. Yeah Broadway! and Chicago with the famous Second City Company. If he had to choose the most memorable of his wonderful experiences he cherishes probably best of all being a member of the Theatre Workshop Company under the directorship of Joan Littlewood.
