Stern is the author of A Force upon the Plain: The American Militia Movement and the Politics of Hate and Holocaust Denial ; Antisemitism Today: How It Is the Same, How It Is Different, and How to Fight It ; and The Conflict over the Conflict: The Israel/Palestine Campus Debate . His book Loud Hawk won the 1995 Gustavus Myers Award from the Gustavus Myers Center for the Study of Human Rights in North America.
