His most recent books include: Foreign Aid and the Future of Africa (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018), and Africa's Big Men: Predatory State-Society Relations in Africa (co-edited with Olajumoke Yacob-Haliso and Toyin Falola; Routledge, 2018).
