Cameron also wrote both scholarly material and top-tier espionage, some under the name George Bartram and some--with his son, Christian Cameron--under the name Gordon Kent. He was a passionate devotee of fly fishing and wilderness camping, and spent most of his time in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State.
