Kel Byron began her writing career in college, where she would disgust her classmates on purpose. Inspired by works such as John Carpenter's "The Thing" and H.P. Lovecraft's "Color Out of Space", she began posting stories to Reddit's NoSleep forum as a love letter to creature features, body horror, and the fear of the unknowable.
