Karen Vibeke Mortensen, MSc, PhD, is a registered psychologist and group analyst and a specialist practitioner and supervisor of psychotherapy and child psychology. She is an honorary professor of clinical child psychology at Aalborg University and is in private practice in Copenhagen. She has extensive teaching and supervision experience, including teaching and providing supervision in the Danish training programme for psychoanalytic child and adolescent psychotherapists. She has edited books and articles on various clinical and theoretical subjects, including group analysis with children and adolescents, theories of psychopathology, assessment, research, psychodynamic psychotherapy with adults, and supervision. Her doctoral thesis, 'Form and Content in Children's Human Figure Drawings', was published by NYU Press in 1991.
