Kameda Bosai
Kameda Bosai (1752-1826) is one of the best known and loved artists of the Japanese "ehon". Stephen Addiss is the Tucker-Boatwright Professor in the Humanities at the University of Richmond. Author of "Japanese Ghosts and Demons" and respected scholar of Japanese history, he is the recipient of four grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and one from the National Endowment for the Arts and has published 36 books and exhibition catalogs.
