Junius Henri Browne
Junius Henri Browne was born in Seneca, New York in 1833. He was a graduate of Saint Xavier College, Cincinnati. He became a correspondent during the Civil War and was taken prisoner. After the war he wrote for the New York Times , New York Tribune , and various other journals and periodicals. Browne was married and had three children. He died in 1902 in New York City.
