June Carver Roberts grew up in New England, where she spent all her spare time exploring, drawing, and painting the out-of-doors. Since 1953 she has been living in Athens, Ohio. Mrs. Roberts received a B.F.A. from Ohio University. She has won many awards, including the John Marin Award, for some of her drawings and watercolors, has exhibited her work in several states and has held a number of shows.
