Julija Sukys
Julija Sukys is the author of Epistolophilia: Writing the Life of Ona Simaite (2012) and Silence Is Death: The Life and Work of Tahar Djaout (2007). Epistolophilia won the 2013 Helen and Stan Vine Canadian Jewish Book Award for Holocaust Literature. Sukys is assistant professor of English at the University of Missouri, where she teaches creative nonfiction in the creative writing program.
