Julie Stevens has had Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for over 30 years. She used to be a successful teacher and athlete. Nowadays, her MS has progressed so much, she uses a rollator, sticks, wheelchair or mobility scooter to move around. She loves writing poetry and covers many themes, but often engages with the problems of disability. She writes for both adults and children.
