Dr. Haber was formerly Professor and Director of the Department of Nursing at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, Riverdale, New York. Dr. Haber earned her baccalaureate degree in nursing, cum laude, from Adelphi University and her master's and doctoral degrees from New York University. She earned a Certificate of Advanced Achievement in Family Therapy from the Center for Family Learning, New Rochelle, New York and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. Dr. Haber is internationally recognized as a clinician and educator in psychiatric-mental health nursing. She has received two AJN Book of the Year awards for her classic textbook "Comprehensive Psychiatric Nursing", recently published in its 5th edition and translated into Spanish and French.
