Joyce S. Osland is the Lucas Endowed Professor Emerita of Global Leadership and former Executive Director of the Global Leadership Advancement Center at San Jose State University. She is senior editor of Advances in Global Leadership (2020) and co-edited The SAGE Handbook of Contemporary Cross-Cultural Management (2020). Her many teaching awards include the Academy of Management's IMD Outstanding Educator Award. An expatriate for 14 years in seven countries, she has worked in international development, OD consulting, and taught at INCAE.
