Joseph Provey

Joseph Provey is the former editor-in-chief of Family Handyman , Mechanix Illustrated / Home Mechanix , and Practical Homeowner magazines. He has authored several home improvement books, including the Creative Homeowner titles Outdoor Kitchens , Toro Expert Guide to Lawns , Design Ideas for Flooring , and Successful Container Gardening as well as many articles for national home and garden magazines. Provey began his career as a carpenter and now lives in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
