Joseph Orlando Palacio
Dr. Joseph Palacio was born in the village of Barranco and grew up in several villages in southern Belize where his brother was teaching. He earned a B.A. degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Toronto, Canada, an M.A. degree in Anthropology specializing in Archeology from the University of Manitoba, Canada, and the Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in Anthropology.
