Jos Gommans

Jos Gommans teaches Indian history at the Kern Institute of Leiden University. His publications include The Rise of the Indo-Afghan Empire, c. 1710-1780 (Delhi, 1999) as well as various articles on the medieval history of South Asia. He is currently preparing a monograph on Mughal warfare.
