JONI WILSON is a multi-genre writer, and self-proclaimed bona fide 'Dog Rescuer, ' and (one special cat!). This series was inspired by a real-life incident with a dog she had rescued, who in turn, barked three households of people and pets out of housefires. A native of Toronto, Canada, she enjoyed success from Broadway musicals, rock bands, and writing sketch comedy improv to Nashville, Tennessee, and a world-touring singer/songwriting career. Living in the southern United States inspired her to write comedy screenplays, even placing a sitcom on ABC's pilot list.
