In 2009, Fitzgerald transitioned back into production, developing socially relevant films through Cause Pictures (The Back Nine, Dance of Liberation, The Highest Pass, The Milky Way, Warrior One). In 2015, Fitzgerald launched Causecinema.com as a guide to the best of social impact films.
