John was driven by his own experiences and the idea that a simple game of "catch" can be an effective tool for improving the wellness of all Australians through physical activity, greater social connectedness, and building confidence. This book 'Mittsy, the Magical Baseball Glove', is John's first book and has been written to thank and inspire all the school children throughout Tasmania and Australia that John has been fortunate to introduce to sport and the magical games of baseball & cricket.
