Jo'el Roth, MS, CRC, worked in the electronics industry for many years, calling on the military and manufacturers for major battery companies. At the same time, she wrote articles for newspapers and magazines nationwide about electronics, security, science and society. When the Iraq war began, she accepted an assignment as a workshop leader for the US Navy, leading health, wellness and creativity workshops on board ships at sea in the Pacific and on military bases. This work led her to pursue a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. In this field, she is able to apply her electronics training to the field of adaptive technology. She now works with individuals who have a wide variety of disabilities as they move forward through their lives towards meaning and fulfillment. See less
