Joe Mitchell

Joe Mitchell grew up in the woods of North Idaho, a long ways from the nearest neighbor, on the Couer d' Alene Indian reservation. He received his degree from the University of Idaho and is a licensed electrical engineer and control system engineer. Joe is the founder of the non-profit company Mountain Friends Inc., and has been the president since 2003. While working for Mountain Friends, he and his family have lived in rural China for seven years.
