Joan DoRosario was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, where her exposure to the vast wilderness of the African savannah grew into a passion for the teeming wildlife that roamed the plains. Although she now lives in the suburbs of Toronto, Canada, she could never expunge the love of the wild from her blood.
