Jim Hall

WWII Veteran Jim Hall made his first parachute jump in 1949. He went on to own a professional parachuting company and created a magnet for adventurers. He was co-creator of the TV series RIPCORD that put SkyDiving before millions of viewers and was based on these adventures in Mexico. In 1965 Jim helped develop and live-tested the ejection seat for the high speed F-102/F106 Fighter Interceptors, and in 1967 he created the Air Force's training film on surviving an ejection or bail out.
