Jim Browning
Jim Browning was born and raised in a rural community in north east Alabama. He enlisted in the US Army soon after his 18th birthday and was accepted in the army leadership program for future non-commissioned officers. Jim Browning was born and raised in a rural community in north east Alabama. He enlisted in the US Army soon after his 18th birthday and was accepted in the army leadership program for future non-commissioned officers. He served as an infantry platoon leader during the Korean Conflict. As a casualty of war he spent six plus months in four field hospitals, two hospital ships and one base hospital located at Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. When he was released form the hospital he was assigned to The Japanese Logistical command were he served as personal body guard to Prince Akihato, now His Majesty Akahito 125th, Emperor of Japan. He was later assigned to the First Guided Missile Brigade and was a member of Doctor Werner Von Braun's staff. Other military assignments included being a cast member in the filming of "Double Duty American" and later was one of the first fifty American to be within one mile of an atomic explosion (in street clothing) AS a civilian Jim entrepreneurial spirit has led him to incorporate five companies. Jim has written one army training Manuel, one genealogical record, and published five books; "Alone Man", "Priscilla", "The 3rd Platoon", "Breast-Feed Your Dreams" and "Falsely Accused and Convicted".
