Jessica Shahriari Nicely is a former beauty queen, competing in the Miss USA pageant, and a passionate advocate for child abuse prevention, awareness and treatment. After dedicating 17 years to helping numerous charitable child abuse prevention organizations, Jessica launched Winged Hope Family Advocacy Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to child abuse and domestic violence prevention, awareness and treatment. She is dedicated to expanding Family Advocacy Centers, which are designed to increase the effectiveness of investigations while reducing the stress and trauma to victims of violent crimes. Jessica received a B.A. Degree in English from Arizona State University in 2000. She is also a former Miss Arizona USA and had the privilege of representing the state of Arizona at the Miss USA pageant. She is an author and was the co-founder and co-editor of Savvy Magazine, an international beauty, style and pop culture magazine.
