Jenny Slaver has been drawing since she could hold a crayon. She met Shawn Small at a camping retreat he hosted while she was still in high school. One night, around a campfire, Shawn affirmed her gift for creativity and art. Jenny claims that night as one of the first moments that she truly began to acknowledge herself as an artist. Since then, Shawn has been a diehard advocate for Jenny's art. While creating all forty orginal pieces for The Via Crucis, Jenny was a student at the Memphis College of Art.
