Jennifer Wingate is Professor of Fine Arts at St. Francis College, in Brooklyn, NY, where she teaches art history and American studies. She is the author of Sculpting Doughboys: Memory, Gender, and Taste in America's World War I Memorials (2013), and co-editor, with Sierra Rooney and Harriet F. Senie, of the volume, Teachable Monuments: Using Public Art to Spark Dialogue and Confront Controversy (2021).
