Jeffrey Pine first became a student of Taoism many years ago as a side-effect of his involvement with the martial arts. He has a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Colorado and an M.B.A. in International Marketing from the prestigious Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management (now a part of Arizona State University). As a young man, he joined the U.S. Peace Corps and taught in the Shah's Iran for 2 years, one in a small tribal village without electricity or piped water. He had already traveled around the world by the time he was 30. To date, he has visited 68 different countries (including parts of China) on four continents and still visits unfamiliar regions of the world whenever he gets a chance. See less
