Jeff Howe graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.A. in communications in 1985. He moved to Aspen, Colorado where he worked for KSPN radio station. When the ski season ended he moved to Los Angeles for a brief period and then returned to Cincinnati where he went to work for his family's business, a manufacturer and distributor of process heating elements and temperature sensors used in the plastics industry.
