Jeanette Kamciyan is a doctoral-prepared family nurse practitioner with a master's degree in information systems and library science. Her writing experience extends to both fiction and prose; she has co-authorized a juried professional article and written several iterations of her final thesis. Jeanette is retired from her former job and now relishes fawning over her grandchild. During her children's school age years she taught sex-education courses to fourth and fifth graders, much to her own children's chagrin. She currently spends her days working out, writing stories, volunteering and trying to be a great example to her family of what it's like to grow old gracefully. Otherwise, she travels extensively and marvels about what the world has to offer. Indeed her recent book, The Incredible Trash Donkey: Don't Talk Trash was inspired by a trip to the Sicilian town of Castelbuono in Italy. See less
