She spent much of her life in education and corporate training (while raising two children) until realizing her dream- expressing herself through art and the spoken word. Jean Henriott Trawick is a mixed media artist living in Akron, Ohio. She spent much of her life in education and corporate training (while raising two children) until realizing her dream- expressing herself through art and the spoken word. She wrote Spooklin in 1956 while attending a Children's Literature class at Heidelberg College, using fabrics and other materials to illustrate the story.
