Jason Bright is a Canadian author of self-help and life improvement books who was brought up in Vancouver. He later moved to Calgary, to attend university and from there he took a job in a company in Ottawa, where he lived and worked for 10 years. He now lives in Montreal, with his wife, daughter and their pet German Shepherd, where he writes full time. Jason's interest in improving his life began when he was student and found it hard to make ends meet. Jobs were scarce and not very well paid and so he decided to write articles for magazines. This, he found, was far more lucrative and he could do it from the comfort of his room. Before long he was churning out several per week and earning enough to make life a lot easier. When he started working full-time he also continued to write but began researching the self-help niche which he discovered was growing in popularity. He now writes almost exclusively within the self-help niche, helping his growing fan base to improve their lives in many different ways, through a wide range of books that he has produced. In his spare time, Jason likes to spend it with his daughter, taking her on day trips or just walking the dog. He is a big ice hockey fan and tries to catch a game as often as he can, enjoys reading, swimming and cycling and is something of an amateur chef. In the future he would like to travel a bit more than he currently does and hopes to visit some of the world's great archaeological sites, in places like Mexico, Turkey and Egypt. See less
