Jarice Hanson is Professor Emerita in the Department of Communication at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Her research focuses on the impact of new technology. She formerly held the Verizon Chair in Telecommunications at Temple University, and was the founding Dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University.
