Janine Bourriau

Janine Bourriau is a Senior Fellow of the McDonald Institute. She has excavated in Egypt at Saqqara, Memphis and Buto for the EES from 1984. Her particular interest lies in Egypt's Middle Kingdom but the study of ceramics has taken her into all historic periods. She was previously Keeper of Antiquities in the Fitzwilliam Museum.
