Jane Pugh

Jane Pugh is a divorced single mum. Twenty-five years ago she was diagnosed with PKD -- an incurable kidney disease that kills 75 per cent of sufferers by their mid-forties. PKD has wiped out 4 generations of her family. Her younger sister also has the disease. There is a 50 per cent chance she will have passed it on to her 9 year old son. It 2004, out of work and recovering from brain surgery, Jane was plucked from obscurity to write for The Times. This is her first book.
