Jane Priest Wilson is a Christian author who has been writing seriously since high school. She was a columnist and feature writer for two newspapers, and has written ministry newsletters for twenty-four years. Jane also has numerous works in progress including a second novel. There are stories about deaf children and other children's stories, and a children's chapter book. Jane and husband John are also writing about their experiences in various ministries through the years since 1988. Stories about things like the day they saw a woman killed at a post office, the true story of "The Machete Brothers", and the summer they sang gospel music and conducted Sunday services in a caf�. That was in the Yukon, on the Alaska Highway. There are also many tales to relate about pastoring churches, ministering in dozens of nursing homes, and while on the road as music evangelists, which is what they are currently doing. They began their travels in a converted school bus years ago. Seven flat tires on one trip was not fun! There are good and bad things that happen along the way, and inspiring one-on-one experiences that are worth sharing with others. MIRACLE IN MADISON, her first novel, was begun in 1978, when they were dreaming of moving to the woods and living off the land. They were looking for peace and tranquility in their lives. Ten years later, their dream had come true in the woods of Minnesota where they had found that peace through the Lord Jesus Christ. The book was finished just before starting in the ministry in 1988. Of course, after giving her life totally to Jesus Christ, it was re-written to make this mystery book into an "inspirational suspense novel". It is their earnest prayer that you will draw closer to the living God through the telling of this tale. There will be a SEQUEL coming out in the future. Watch for MIRACLE ON THE MOUNTAIN! John and Jane married as high school sweethearts forty-six years ago. She is thankful that he has been a tremendous encouragement to her in her writing. They raised their two awesome children, Jimmy and Lara, and now have four wonderful grandchildren! Their family and serving the Lord are their greatest joys in life. See less
