Jan White grew up in Casselton, North Dakota, attended Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri followed by North Dakota State University. She, her husband, and a small pound dog named Munchkin, live in Tempe, Arizona. They have three grown children, Rob, Rebecca and Hal. Daughter, Rebecca White Berch, is Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court. She has taught water color and oil painting, and has written for television and magazines. For some years she used to write and choreograph a weekly skit for the Lew King Ranger Show. This is her first published novel. Jerome is a historic mining town in Arizona, which in its heyday was notorious as being 'the wickedest town in the West." The White family had a summer home there for vacations. See less
