Jacqueline Gojard, Ph.D., maître de conférences hors classe, Department of Literature, University of Paris III (Sorbonne nouvelle), has published numerous books and essays on André Salmon and other French literary figures as well as edited Salmon's novels, memoirs, chronicles, and a comprehensive a bibliography of his work, and letters to/from Max Jacob (Gallimard, 2009) and Guillaume Apollinaire (Claire Poulhan, 2019). She edited and wrote the preface for the facsimile version of Salmon's masterpiece "Le Manuscrit trouvé dans un chapeau chapeau" "The Manuscript Found in a Hat"] (Fata Morgana, 1983), with drawings by Picasso (originally published by La Société littéraire de France, 1919). Her doctoral dissertation (Paris Sorbonne, 1985) is a study of this work. She prefaced the new edition of "La Négresse du Sacré-Coeur" (Gallimard 2009), followed by Salmon's unpublished text "Véritable clé d'un domaine imaginaire" ["The Real Key to an Imaginary Domaine"].
