Irv Sternberg introduced Izzy Brand, aging stand-up comic and amateur sleuth, in 2007 with the publication of No Laughing Matter, an award-winning comic mystery. He is also the author of the best-selling historical novel, Neptune's Chariot, and the award-winning Clint Jagger series of international thrillers, written under his pen name, Mark Irving. A former journalist and public relations practitioner, he and his wife live in Colorado.
