Ingo Bauernfeind studied military and naval history, visual communication, and documentary film at Hawaii Pacific University, Honolulu. In Pearl Harbor, he completed various museum projects for the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Missouri Memorial, the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum, the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, and the US Navy.
