She is also an educator who earned her doctorate in education a decade ago. Dr. Robinson has devoted her life to helping others. She is also blessed with Godchildren: Dean, Little Miss Joan Ennis-Thomas, Kerri-Anne, Tyree, and Jahari. The book features a young up-and-coming BFA co-author, Miss Shayon Price of Jamaica. As the senior author, I am recognizing the talents of our youths and know that we must keep them engaged in the arts from a tender age. As Picasso wisely chimed "all children are artists but we must challenge ourselves to keep them engaged in the arts so they become all they can be" (Forbes, 2015; Hill, 2019). Having worked with Miss Price, I am convinced that she has the skills to become a prominent Jamaican BFA, and as such, she is featured as one of the artists in this publication. Shayon took time off her 2021 summer vacation to illustrate several works in two of Dr. D's children's book series: Kids Play Guess the Digital Animal (and Kids Play Animals are Everywhere. Both are Creative Animal Kingdom Activity Books. Shayon's future plans are to publish a series of children's books based on her special love for animals, nutrition, and sports, and upon completion of high school, her aim is to attend the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in Jamaica to pursue her artistic talents at a professional level. It is easy to see that a bright future awaits Shayon Price as she aims to prove Picasso's theory a reality. See less
