Imali Abala was born in Western Kenya and currently lives in the United States. She is the author of Haughty Boys of Ngoroke (Nsemia 2015), Moody Mood and Red Round Ball (a children's book), Drum Bits of Terror, A Fallen Citadel (a poetry collection), Jahenda The Teenage Mother (Nsemia Inc., 2021), and The Disinherited and Move on, Trufosa.
