IAN HEMBROW is a freelance writer, researcher and former visiting scholar at the Oxford Centre for Life Writing at Wolfson College, University of Oxford. In 2016, while working in Sweden on a book about medicine safety, he stumbled across the story and legacy of Anders Celsius - the largely unknown man with the extremely well-known name.
