Dr. Hemen Sarma obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Botany [2008] from Gauhati University and pursued post-doctorate research at North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong and Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology [IASST], Guwahati, India. He made significant contributions to the field of emerging contaminants, endocrine disrupting compounds and persistent organic pollutants.
